Nat Rojanasathira | Martinez, Contra Costa County

Since 2011, Nat Rojanasathira has been the Assistant to the Town Manager for the Town of Danville (pop. 42,000), where he oversees public information/outreach, legislative advocacy, policy development, and special projects, as well as budgets for the town council, town manager and community outreach. He also serves as deputy city clerk, cable franchise administrator, and is staff liaison to the county library, solid waste authority and community museum. From 2007 through 2011, Nat served as Transportation/Economic Development Program Coordinator for the Town of Danville.

Prior to Danville, Nat worked to create a Tourism Business Improvement District for the Monterey County Convention & Visitors Bureau and served in the City of Pacific Grove's City Manager's Office.

Since 2013, Nat has served as a Fire Commissioner for the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District, the largest all-hazard fire district in California, serving over 600,000 residents across 304 square miles. He represents the communities of Martinez, Pittsburg, Bay Point, Pacheco, Clyde, Briones, Alhambra Valley, Reliez Valley and parts of Antioch.

Nat is proud to serve on the board of the Municipal Management Association of Northern California. He has served as East Bay Co-Chair (2013), Program Director (2014) and Vice President (2015).

A native Californian, Nat holds a B.A. in Global Studies from California State University, Monterey Bay and a Master of Public Administration from the University of San Francisco. He loves hiking, kayaking, listening to bluegrass music, reading maps and exploring communities throughout the Golden State. He lives in Martinez with his wife and two cats.
