Monica Davis | Hayward, Alameda County
Monica Elise Davis currently works for the City of Hayward in the Library and Community Services Department. She also serves as the Chairwoman for Trikone, which is the world’s oldest South Asian LGBTQ organization. Monica collaborates with two national organizations: (1) National Queer Asian Pacific Islander Alliance (NQAPIA), a federation of LGBTQ Asian American, South Asian, Southeast Asian and Pacific Islander organizations, and (2) Queer South Asian National Network (QSANN), a network of queer South Asian organizations across the U.S. Previously, Monica worked at her old law school, where she managed the international program offerings. Additionally, at Santa Clara University, she co-led the LGBTQ Staff + Faculty Group. Monica earned her J.D. with a specialization in Public Interest and Social Justice and a M.B.A. with a specialization in Leadership and Management from Santa Clara University.
